East 12th development
This design proposed creating the mixed-use neighborhood center desired in the Rosewood neighborhood plan. Over 161,000 square feet was envisioned to be built in four phases (see below). The first phase would line Hargrave Street and 12th Avenue with 3-story structures complete with ground floor neighborhood retail and live/work lofts that have downtown views. Once this strong street edge was established, subsequent development that makes use of the deep site could occur.
